Post-conference field-trip (upd. 19 June)

Field-trip (upd. 19 June)
The field-trip will be addressed to visit some of the main Sicilian localities which have experienced earthquake destruction; it will be organised in collaboration with the Department of Catania of INGV.
People not registered for the field-trip can still join the first day of it.
The preliminary schedule is the following (see map):

July 7
8.30 - Departure from Erice
Visit of Selinunte archaeological site
        (Participants who have joined the field-trip for one day only will leave to Palermo)
Arrival at Agrigento
Visit of the Temples
Dinner and overnight

July 8
Departure from Agrigento
Visit of the town of Grammichele, formerly Occhiolà, rebuilt after the 1693 earthquake
Visit of the ruins of Noto Antica
Arrival at Noto
Dinner and overnight

July 9
Visit of Noto
Departure to Catania
Visit to the Etna Volcano and overnight in Nicolosi.

July 10
Departure to Catania and Palermo airports.

Part of the costs will be supported by the sponsoring institution. Costs in charge to participants will be around 100 USD + meals.
